I LOVE pearls. Real, faux, I don't discriminate. But sometimes they can be a bit difficult to wear without looking too "Barbara Bush." The above wishbone posts + cuff necklace from Anthropologie don't fall into that category. The earrings are a no-brainer and can be worn with essentially everything. The cuff (named the Macau trực tuyến Baccarat"Double Pearl Necklace") is fierce... I see it with a minimalistic black dress, or maybe paired with an Alexa Chung-esque babydoll dress to give it a little edge. Once again, Anthropologie for the win.

What a lovely blog you have. I've added myself as a follower on bloglovin.
Actually, the wishbones with pearls are a grandmothers pearls... mine. ;)
I bought them in 14k gold with a tiny real pearl in each as my very first pair of pierced earrings !
I am now grandmother to 5 children aged from 14 to 3. I purchased them at a small jewelry store in Westfield, NJ. I was just turning 18 and it was a big deal for me.
Those earrings were beautiful then and they are beautiful now.

You may be aware of this, but here's a marvelous comment from the late Diana Vreeland regarding pearls:

"I am extremely disappointed to see that we have used practically no pearls at all in the past few issues. In fact, many necklines could have been helped by pearls worn inside the dress that show inside the cutaway sides and back of most ordinary dresses on top...

I speak of this very often -- and as soon as I stop speaking the pearls disappear.

Nothing gives the luxury of pearls. Please keep this in mind."
