unwrapped: for me, for you

Hi there, I'm Kate and I do my thing (photography/jewelry making/rambling) over at For Me, For You. I don't blog about "stuff" very often these days, so this wish list was a treat to put together. I approached this as a list of things I want and a few things I own that I think would make awesome gifts. Thanks for having me, Fallon!

1. Dinosaur Toes Earrings
They're so simple and easily transition between dressy and casual.

2. Score+Solder Hanging Planter
Do I even need to explain why this is awesome? This has been in my dreams for a bit now.

3. MCMC Hunter
Jenny sent me this recently from her new amazing shop and I wear it every single day. It's easy enough to wear everyday, but is also really unique smelling so you won't run into tons of other ladies wearing it as well.

4. Ermie After Party Dress
Girls, treat yo' self, this dress will make you feel like a million bucks. Or a million twinkling lights. Either way, awesome.

5. Fieldguided Dreamcats 2012 Calendar
This calendar contains all the key elements of my personal taste: peach color, retro font, geometric shapes, and kittens.

6. Stine Goya Noble Hat
I haven't owned a hat since a Mariners baseball hat I wore in the fourth grade until my short hair tucked under it got me mistaken for a boy, but hats are a romantic idea to me these days, and this beauty especially.

7. Butter London Laquer in Wallis
I wear nail polish pretty much 24/7 and I can say with confidence that Butter London is the best stuff out there. I want this dark, sparkly color for the dark winter days. Just kidding, I live in LA. Don't throw things at me.

8. Heath Teapot
I drink a lot of tea, and this is the teapot of my dreams.

9. Rifle Paper Co Botanical Notebooks Collection
Someone sent these to me recently and I've decided that they are the perfect gift - they're beautiful, affordable, and everyone can use a pretty notebook.

Macau trực tuyến Baccaratunwrapped: design darling

Hi There! I'm Mackenzie from Design Darling and I'm delighted to be a guest on a lovely being today. This is my very favorite time of year so I'm excited to share a few things I have my eye on this season!

un: I love these Zara boots! The color is that perfect shade of goes-with-everything tan and I love the tassel detail on the zipper.

deux: My jewelry collection could use this over-the-top fabulous Loren Hope necklace. It would go perfectly with every holiday ensemble!

trois: I've had my eye on this Chris Callahan print for ages! It would be the perfect gift for a friend or sibling moving into a new apartment.

quatre: One of my favorite gifts - to give and to receive! - is new stationary and this Gadabout card set definitely fits the bill! Hanna did a custom illustration for my blog and I just love her work. How pretty would these be with a cherry red envelope?

cinq: This catbird ring is the most darling thing I've ever seen! It's also availalbe with one initial which makes it an easily customizable gift for all the ladies on your list.

six: This Nube Green throw looks so cozy! The fact that it's made from all-recycled materials makes it the perfect gift for an environmentally-minded friend or sibling.

sept: And if any of my family or friends are looking to splurge on my gift this Christmas, I'll take these IOMOI loafers in a size six ;) Hot pink and elepants have my name written all over them!

Thank you so much for having me, Fallon, and happy holidays to all!

unwrapped: note to self

(What could be a better holiday coundown than a bi-weekly guest series featuring my favorite
bloggers + their personal holiday wish list?! First up, We have Sarah Tolzman of Note To Self.
Tune in this Wednesday for the next chapter of Unwrapped!)

Hello, hello! My name is Sarah, I'm the authoress of a little blog, Note to Self, and Associate Designer for the lovely Matchbook magazine. When it comes to Christmas gifts, I'm rather content with books, classic movies and small keepsakes. But while we're wishing big (that's why blogs are fun, right?) I have to say, these items are definitely at the my top my holiday wish list. In no particular order...

 1. Robert Polidor's Versailles ($112)
Thanks to Sofia Coppola, I'm fascinated by the late Baroque art period. I could pour over this trilogy of Versailles restoration photographs for years.

 2. J.Crew Cece Ballet Flats ($128)
I have a pair of these from last season and have worn them into the ground. The newest colors would add a welcome punch to a day-to-day outfit.

3. The Metropolitan Museum of Art 2012 Desktop Calendar ($18)
My mother gives me this every year, and I just love it. It's also the only day-to-day calendar that I have ever remembered to keep up with!

4. Furbish Lacquer Boxes ($72-$115)
Everything in Jamie's shop is worth wishing for, especially these boxes (plus, orange is my favorite color. Don't tell Elle Woods.)

5. Lulu Frost Knot Earrings ($155)
I've been semi-obsessed with these earrings since making my Matchbook wish list. Pearls with some edge - they're so perfect!

6. Caran d'Ache Ballpoint Pens via Ann Mashburn ($20 each)
Who could not love writing with neon pens every day?

7. Kate Spade Dotty iPhone Case ($40)
The small touches of gold make the perfect amount of "flash" for me.

8. J.Crew Edie Purse ($238)
I've been in love with this purse since its release in July. In my mind, it's literally the perfect shoulder bag. The tan would match absolutely everything.

9. Kate Spade Snail Mail Cards ($25)
Wouldn't it be fun to make someone smile with these cards?

10. Le Creuset Cookware ($130+)
These are classics for the kitchen. I can see many tasty things coming out of these dishes!

Thank you for having me, Fallon! And happy holidays, everyone! x
