drake's pocket squares

I’ve always found men’s clothing to be a bit limiting. Recently, though, I’ve realized that menswear is about the details. Little things like ties, cufflinks, and of course Macau trực tuyến Baccaratpocket squares, can reveal worlds about a man’s personality (whether he’s conscious of it or not!). Some men are uncomfortable with fashion and are afraid to take risks. If this sounds familiar, might I suggest purchasing one of Drake’s pocket squares as a Valentine’s Day gift? I prefer the patterned ones, but the polka dot number is perfect for someone of a more conservative nature. I'm tempted to buy one for myself just because they're so beautiful!

happy valentine's day!

When I was little, my mom would send Valentine’s Day cards to friends and family instead of Christmas cards. I laughed out loud when I read that Julia Child did the same. In My Life in France, Child said,“Valentine cards had become a tradition of ours, born of the fact that we could never get ourselves organized in time to send out Christmas cards.” With four young children, I think my mom was very much in the same boat! This card was taken in 1998 - I was ten, my brother Jimmy was eight, Sean was six, and Danielle was four. Aren’t those sweatshirts cute (for 1998, that is)? My mom cut the hearts and letters out of felt and glued them on. So sweet :)

PS - the watercolor floral/heart border was painted by yours truly.
I was quite the artist...

pierrepont hicks

If you have yet to purchase a Valentine's Day present for your beau, I highly recommend that you check out Pierrepont Hick's line of neckwear and bow ties. The company, which launched this fall, is run by a husband-and-wife team out of Minneapolis. Their products are made by master craftsman, not machines, in New York City's garment district and make even me want to wear bow ties! PS: Here's what's in store for spring (it should be available any day now):
