Information you provide

When you request a quotation or book a service, we process the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, journey date and time, pick-up and destination, flight or cruise ship details, number of passengers, luggage and relevant service instructions. Please provide only information needed to arrange your journey. Do not send identity documents, payment card details or medical information through the quotation fields.

How the website contact tools work

The quotation tool prepares an email in your email application. The request reaches us only when you send that email. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp; you choose whether to send the message. Email and messaging providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Why we use information and the legal basis

We use your information to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, organise and perform the requested transport, and communicate booking details. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform the booking contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Accounting and other records required by law are processed to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Where necessary, service records may be used to establish, exercise or defend legal claims and protect the security of communications, on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who may receive information

Information needed to arrange your service may be shared with authorised booking staff, the assigned driver and transport providers involved in your booking. Hosting, email and communication services process information as needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or competent authorities where required by law or necessary for legal claims.

External services and international processing

This website links to Gmail and WhatsApp. Their providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices describe processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements. Consult Google’s Privacy Policy and WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy. Contact us for information about the providers involved in handling your booking.

How long information is kept

Enquiry information is retained for the time necessary to respond, manage follow-up and resolve the request. Booking records are retained for service administration and for the periods required by applicable accounting and tax obligations. Records needed for disputes are retained for the relevant legal limitation period or until the dispute is resolved. Retention is assessed according to the purpose, legal obligations and any outstanding claims.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out. Send requests to bookingfiumicinotransfer@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the competent authority in your country.

Providing data and automated decisions

Providing information is voluntary, but without essential contact and journey details we cannot prepare an accurate quotation or arrange your booking. The quotation tool does not automatically confirm a booking or make decisions about service availability.
